Pinal County Lt. John Ellsworth Has Had Enough In His Own Words

I'm getting more than a little sick and tired of all the biased hit pieces going out against Sheriff Babeu. They are intentionally slanted in a negative manner, disregard factual responses and ignore the improved services provided by the hard working men and women of the Pinal County Sheriff's Office.

I have submitted the following Letter to the Editor of numerous newspapers and websites in Pinal County. I am fully prepared for personal attacks against me which I am sure will come.

As far as I am concerned, every single word I wrote is the truth. I have absolutely no problem going public with my belief system.

If they can't handle the truth, it is to their detriment, not mine.

To all those outstanding men and women of the Pinal County Sheriff's Office who put it all on the line every time you start your shift, thank you for your part in making PCSO a better agency! Your hard work does not go unnoticed and is appreciated.

Letter to the Editor,

I publicly supported Sheriff Vasquez in 2008. The People of Pinal County spoke and elected Sheriff Paul Babeu. It didn’t take long to see an improved level of service capabilities to the citizens of Pinal County.

Executive management began providing clear command intent directives holding all levels of agency leaders responsible to achieve mission goals. I watched, and was impressed, as mediocre or low performing staff was being held accountable, some for the first time in their career.

Emergency response times decreased and PCSO added an Air Unit which has already saved lives and interdicted criminal activity. I was proud to see our Adult Detention Facility become the only one Nationally Accredited in Arizona and delighted to finally see an aggressive interdiction of the organized criminal smuggling operations traveling through our county. Who in their right mind, outside the criminal element, would oppose this?

The active pursuit of military surplus material to supplement the mission is fiscally responsible, as well as providing strategically placed all-terrain vehicles throughout the county for rapid response for rescue/evacuation of our citizens in the event of natural or man-made disasters.

I’m a career law enforcement officer and have seen much in the 34 years I’ve served with Casa Grande PD and PCSO. Without question, this is the best run Sheriff’s Office that I have ever seen. Let’s put partisan and personal attacks aside and look at the results. You are better served than you were four years ago.

John Ellsworth

Southwest Border Sheriffs News stand behind John Ellsworth as well as Sheriff Paul Babeu! The current opposition is frantically lying in this election year in hopes to unseat Sheriff Babeu..Sheriff Babeu's popularity is so great in Pinal County and across our great nation he scares the hell out of democrats.

ABC 15 has written numerous smear articles and ran video's that a 8th grade student could see through for its slanting of facts.

Then there is AZ Republic...Yet another leftwing extremist outlet here in Arizona...The Attacks on Babeu will continue. But most important is the people of Piinal County know their sheriff is doing his job!
